The Old Bake House

Worthing

Tarring High Street is the most historic street in Worthing, with buildings dating back to the late medieval period. It is on this High Street you'll find "a hidden gem", the Old Bake House Tearoom.

A quintessentially quaint English tea room in the very heart of Tarring Village. Now run by mother and daughter duo Ruth and Kelly, who provide homemade treats to suit all.

Known for their variety of cheese scones, brownies, sausage rolls, Battenburg and high tea. I haven't even gotten around to mentioning the amazing Kendricks coffee and vast selection of teas they provide.

Surprisingly for such a petite tearoom, they aim to cater to all diets. Whether you are gluten-free, dairy- free or just trying to be food conscious, the friendly staff will always aim to please.

It's not just a perfect spot for tea and cake, many enjoy lunch gatherings here too, from all-day breakfast to light lunches. Come down and see for yourself.
