We are Driftwood Restaurant and Wine Bar, a small 30 cover eatery overlooking the Marine Lake in beautiful W-s-M.

Husband and wife team Andy and Lynne look forward to offering you home cooked dishes using fresh ingredients. Wines from a supplier who we have been using for some 20 years who are also part of the Vintner’s Society.

Serving classic and not so classic dishes including Prawn Cocktail, Seared Lambs Liver, Toffee Apple braised Belly Pork, Pan fried Sea bass and possibly the best Beef Lasagne in W-s-M.

Desserts include Sticky Toffee Pudding, Double Chocolate Brownie and a rather large Crème Brulle.

The majority of our menu is Gluten free (not that you would know it) including the desserts and a number of desserts can be or are suitable for diabetics.

We are open from Wednesday to Saturday. Food served from 12pm – 3pm, 6pm – 9pm and Sunday 12pm – 5pm for a lovely plated Roast Dinner.

We also offer Vegetarian options and Dairy Free with a comprehensive allergy menu.

Unfortunately, due to the size of the restaurant in and out we don’t allow dogs (as cute and as well behaved as yours is)

To also create an adult environment in the evenings we have a No under 6’s after 6pm policy.

Myself and Lynne have been in the trade for 40 years between us. I went to catering college for 2 years then worked in and around London before landing a Sous Chef position in the Cayman Islands. From there the USA, Bermuda, UK, back to Bermuda then Taunton which is where we met.

Lynne has managed several operations in the hospitality industry perfecting her skills and creating that beaming smile.

Lynne and Myself then worked together for a small pub chain managing the front and back of house of several establishments. We then decided to take on our own pub in Exmouth for 5 years, then a Restaurant for 7 years and now we are here in sunny Weston.

I have an extensive knowledge of world cuisines and can where possible create that special meal for you, being wheat and diary intolerant also lets me understand the importance of understanding your needs, never mind been diabetic as well!
