Our mission to inspire, educate and conserve has not only made us a beautiful place to visit but a fascinating and relevant one too. We have an amazing collection of over 5000 different plant varieties, spread across 560 acres of beautiful countryside.

We have developed a stunning range of themed gardens that appeal to a wide range of visitors, from those who just love the sights and smells to those who want to know about plant evolution, the use of medicinal plants or our scientific research. We are very family friendly. We run 100 days of family activities throughout the year, and we have a year-round diverse programme of events that appeal to a wide range of visitors.
