RingWood Meeting House

New Forest
The Ringwood Meeting House and History Centre

“Where people meet people”

A unique and special Grade 2* listed historic building built in 1727 with original Box Pews.
Centrally located in town, next to Sainsbury’s, adjacent to Ringwood's main car park and a major bus terminal.
It's a great place to meet and socialise with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere which is totally Covid-19 compliant.

We're open daily Monday to Saturday from 10am 'til 12 noon, and later on Wednesdays from 10.00 till 2:30pm.
There's free entry and you'll get a very friendly welcome from our wonderful volunteers. Visitors are welcome to just sit and relax, or meet with friends for a chat over coffee and cake, tea and biscuits etc.

Spend time browsing the town’s own story told in graphic displays in the galleries depicting the history of Ringwood. You can visit and view our collection of old local photographs and historical material in our extensive archives in the History Centre.

We are one of the principal social hubs for community events in the town.
We have regularly changing monthly Exhibitions done by local organisations and groups, and twice monthly Music Concerts evenings by popular Bands with a licensed bar & snacks available.
We're also available for private hire for corporate business or social group meetings, craft fayres, wedding blessings and baby naming service.
