Fritton Owl Sanctuary

Great Yarmouth

The Founders of the Sanctuary, Louise Thorpe and Mark Weston (who has since retired), started the Charity. This was with an aim to give a home to as many unwanted captive bred owls as we can.

We take in injured wild native owls and rehabilitate them so they can be released back into the wild.

As you can see from the collection of owls we have at the Sanctuary, we feel we have made an impact by saving quite a few in the short time we have been opened. And hope to continue for many years to come.

There is still a great need to help these beautiful birds which is why we visit schools, guide and scout groups, residential homes etc, to educate children and adults about the plight of our native owls.

We would like to say a big thank you for all your support. Without this support we would not have got to this stage.

We are looking forward to welcoming you all to the Sanctuary.
