We run Via Ferrata, rock climbing, family friendly coasteering (in our quarry!), archery and watersports sessions, which include a mix of kayaking, canoeing and the incredibly popular stand-up paddleboarding!

But what is Via Ferrata? we hear you say...
Originating in the Alps during World War I to enable troops to cross mountains, a Via Ferrata is a climbing route like no other. Metal steps, suspension bridges and zip wires make it one of the most adrenaline-filled climbing activities worldwide. Now Via Ferrata has come to Cornwall, so you can enjoy the ultimate high wire adventure as you journey across historic granite quarries on an epic challenge.

Choose from these adventures...
The Adventure Zone is ideal for adventuresome children aged 8+ through to adults. This course starts off at ground level and teaches you the basic skills of Via Ferrata before you face the challenge of the ultimate High Wire Bridge, crossing the Quarry on a 70m long single strand of wire. Get ready to reach places you wouldn't normally be able to, escape the craziness of daily life and immerse yourself in the outdoors!

The Full Classic Route includes 2 Quarry Zones with the High Wire Bridge & Zip Wire. You will first complete the Adventure Zone and then progress to expand your limits. This route will take you to heights of 20 meters above our water filled quarry as you scale the cliffs, tackle the high challenges, conquer your fears and find your ‘matrix moment’ leaping from the cliff edge on the zip wire finale. This adventure is perfect for adventuresome 10 year olds through to full adrenaline junkies.

Treat yourself at the on-site Cafe!
The Cornish Barista - Quarryside provides delicious locally sourced food, gorgeous views and training and employment opportunities, especially to the young people supported by BF Adventure. In addition, 10% of its income goes to BF Adventure's charity work.

Wild play areas and nature trails
We want to be a place where whole families can come together! We're currently developing wild play areas for children aged 1+, as well as nature trails for all ages to enjoy.
