Open daily, our enchanting tearoom offer freshly ground coffee, a selection of local teas, light bites, hearty lunches, and indulgent Dorset cream teas—ensuring there’s something for everyone. Be sure to check our daily specials board for seasonal flavours! We’re passionate about using fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, which is why our cakes, scones, and desserts are baked on-site every day. Every Sunday, treat yourself to our sumptuous Sunday lunch, complete with all the trimmings and a carefully curated selection of wines. And if you’re lucky enough with the weather, you can enjoy riverside. To make sure your experience is exceptional, booking is essential for both high tea and Sunday lunch. High teas are available from 3:00 PM, with a 24-hour notice required.

We welcome everyone at The Wishing Well. Our café is wheelchair accessible, and our gardens are almost entirely wheelchair-friendly. We also have a disabled-friendly toilet and plenty of quiet spaces in the garden for visitors who prefer a calmer environment. Families are warmly welcomed too—we offer a kid-friendly menu and high chairs to ensure little ones are comfortable. And for those with four-legged friends, we’re a dog-friendly café and even sell tasty homemade dog treats! Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you, and we provide water bowls to keep them refreshed.
