The Wittering is a relaxed & inviting free house with rooms in the beautiful West Sussex coastal village of West Wittering.

Embracing our location beside the premier blue flag beach of West Wittering and stunning South Downs National Park, our aim is to provide a welcoming environment for friends and family to come together, eat, drink and champion the community around us.

Socialise amongst breezy interiors, cosy fires and striking artwork that reflects the local area of outstanding natural beauty. Our guests can enjoy dynamic food and drink menus while comfortably dining and drinking in our east restaurant, west bar, pub garden or beach cabins.

We look forward to welcoming our local friends as well as visitors from afar into The Wittering. Whether that is for a drink by the fire, sun-downers in the garden, an enjoyable meal, staying in one of our comfortable rooms or EVEN just a refreshment and snack at the bar.
