The Royal Ashton Town House, first opened by Grace Ashton in 1869, has a long history of providing accommodation for visitors to Taunton.

With a total of 37 rooms, we provide a selection of ensuite single, double and twin rooms, along with two self-contained apartments with their own cooking facilities, perfect for families or larger groups of guests.

Located just a 5-minute walk from the train station, and close to the cricket ground and the town centre, we are well situated for any visit to Taunton. We are also ideally located for public transport links to Glastonbury, Wells, Exmoor and Minehead, making us a popular pit-stop for guests visiting those areas.
