Shepherd and Crook Inn
The Shepherd and Crook is a charming 18th Century public house. Set in the picturesque village of Burmarsh, on the Romney Marshes.
This family run free house prides itself on its selection of local real ales and cask ciders. The tempting menu is mainly pub classics, using locally sourced ingredients. There is a good choice of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options and the Sunday roast is extremely popular.
The pub is full of antiquities and curiosities. In the winter there is a log burner and roaring open fire to keep you cosy. In the summer relax in our recently decked garden area with gazebo.
The Shepherd and Crook is a hidden gem, but well worth taking the trouble to find. You won’t be disappointed.
